Pete Tosh is the Founder of The Focus Group, a management consulting and training firm that assists organizations in sustaining profitable growth by maximizing leadership effectiveness, implementing strategic HR initiatives, and strategic planning The Focus Group has provided these consulting and training services to manufacturing and service organizations across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. Pete has worked closely with the leadership teams of organizations such as Exxon, Brinks, Cracker Barrel, EMC, State Farm, Marriott, N.C.I. and Freddie Mac. Pete has conducted numerous corporate investigations to include addressing issues such as: time clock violations, the use of alcohol and drugs on the job, vendor supplier conflicts of interest, physicians diverting prescriptions, attempted takeover of a CEO, race discrimination, sexual harassment and discrimination, and sexual affairs in the workplace Before founding his firm years ago, Pete held corporate leadership positions in Human Resources and Quality functions, including the V.P. of Human Resources and Quality with Allied Signal, Imperial Chemical Industries, Reynolds Metals, Charter Medical, and Access Integrated Networks. Pete frequently facilitates various leadership development programs for organizations such as the American Management Association. Pete holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Emory and Henry University and Masters degrees in both Business Administration and Industrial Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
